I ultimately discovered, when I changed my Panel focus back to my PowerShell TERMINAL tab, that ALL of the Ctrl-V pasting I had attempted had shown up after my PowerShell prompt! Ctrl-V was not pasting the code I had just Cut or Copied (but right-clicking and choosing Paste was working).

My Ctrl-V issue was when I was trying to correct my Apex code in the EDITOR pane. The deployment had errors, so in the Panel area (which I have at the bottom of my screen) I had clicked on both the OUTPUT and PROBLEMS tabs, which shifted focus away from my PowerShell TERMINAL tab. I have the Salesforce Extension Pack installed and had right-clicked on a file and run SFDX: Deploy Source to Org. "Ctrl+Shift+C" or "Ctrl+Shift+V" to Copy or Paste, and I realised it worked in Windows 10 Pro.For future searchers who do not have Vim (or any other extension) installed which is causing the issue, and who might have verified that their keyboard bindings are correct. Someone in another thread discussion alerted that you now have to include "Shift", i.e.I have already tried, as per some users' advice, doing Device Manager>Keyboards>Drivers>Update Drivers (or Uninstall Device) and restart PC but the "Ctrl+C/V" still does not work in Windows 10 Pro.It is, neverthelss, possible to use "Ctrl+C/V" in File Explorer to duplicate a file or to rename a filename in Windows 10 Pro.However I can still use "Ctrl+Z" (to reverse), "Ctrl+A" (select all), etc.It is working fine in my Windows 10 Home (3.674) using my Dell Inspiron 3437. No reactions when I pressed "Ctrl+C" (to Copy) or "Ctrl+V" (to Paste) in NotePad, all Office programs (Words, Excel, etc.), IE/Chrome in my Windows 10 Professional (9.19) using my Lenovo ThinkPad (I have to right mouse click to Copy/Paste), but.Ctrl+C/V (to Copy or Paste) not working in NotePad, all Office programs, IE/Chrome in my Windows 10 Professional (9.19)
